Over its 27-year history, it invested in 115 companies (62 platforms and 53 add-ons) and played a key active role in their growth and development. During his career, he also served as Chairman of the European industry association EVCA (European Venture Capital Association), as well as Chairman of ASCRI (Spanish Venture Capital Association).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Between 2010 and 2013, Javier relocated to S\u00e3o Paulo, from where he led Mercapital\u2019s expansion in Brazil, Mexico and Colombia. After that, from Sydney, Australia, he took part in the restructuring of Leighton, a construction group controlled by ACS, the world\u2019s largest infrastructure and concessions group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
